Ubiquiti Smart Floodlight Backplate for Siding

The Ubiquiti Smart Floodlight comes with two backplates, one that holds the light parallel to the wall and the other that tips the light down at an angle.It is the latter angled bracket that is most useful (in my opinion) since you can put the light out of reach on the wall and have it shine down.This printable bracket will match the contour of the siding perfectly (you may need to adjust in FreeCAD). The bracket uses tiny square M3 nuts and screws, similar to how the Prusa printers do, with slots in the side.The factory-made bracket has a small opening in the bottom edge for the Ethernet cable to come out, and if you use that this wall mount will work perfectly.When my contractor went to mount this on the wall, he wanted to use the alternate jack on the back of the light, and he wanted to route it out the right side, to conduit. In a pinch, I simply band-sawed a slot in the part and he covered it all up with silicone after mounting things.If you wish to use the back exit instead of the bottom exit, you should probably edit the part and put in a proper hole in the center that takes the wire where you need it.When editing the FreeCAD file, you will find several helpful values in the spreadsheet that can assist in tuning the pitch of the sawteeth for your own siding. As is usually the case, FreeCAD models are somewhat brittle, so even though things are parameterized something might go wonky.
