Ubiquiti Nanostation M2 Port Cover
thingiverse
I recently acquired some pre-owned Nanostation M2 devices, but they didn't come equipped with the port covers. To address this issue, I designed and created a custom replacement using TinkerCAD software. The prototype is still a bit rough around the edges, but it's better than having no protection at all. My plan is to further refine the design by applying a layer of silicone to seal the seam edges before mounting the device outside. The custom port cover has a deliberately designed knockout for easy removal of the second Ethernet port. This feature can be accessed with a hobby knife, making it simple to detach when needed. To ensure successful printing, I recommend using supports to prevent any potential issues during the 3D printing process.
