Ubiquiti AP to wallbox
thingiverse
I created a custom adapter to bridge the gap between my ceiling mount electrical box's holes and the Ubiquiti AP-LR wall mount's holes, which are 3.281 inches apart. This was necessary because I didn't know if other Ubiquiti access points use the same screw patterns. The small mounting holes on the AP were designed for drywall screws, but they now thread directly into the plastic without needing any nuts on the back side - a difficult spot to reach. To secure this connection, use regular wall box screws. I printed the adapter in ABS due to concerns that the top of the access point can get hot and potentially warp over time if made from PLA.
