I designed this because the ones you can buy keep breaking after a few months as the plastic is bent back and forth continuously. It is tested and works quite well. What you will need in addition to the printed parts: 5x M5 nuts (1 with nylon ring for the hinge) 3x M5 screw 35mm length 2x M5 screw 40mm length 2x M5 washer for the hinge The two longer M5 screw are used to attach the nubs. 2019-04-13: improved nub a bit so it prints better 2019-04-14: improved tolerance between hinges and handles for better fit 2020-01-06: added stronger hinges (for people that break the normal ones), added hole to handle for attaching a rope so the massage-u can be used on the upper back / shoulders more easily 2020-01-10: added improved version of nub (nub_v2.stl) Print Settings Printer: CTC Prusa i3 Reprap MK8 DIY Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50% Filament: EFORINK PLA Blue Notes: I recommend using 5 perimeters for stronger parts. All parts except for the nubs need support for printing. Print the nubs standing on the neck/spacer - not the sphere top. The handles should be printed in the orientation matching the hinges in order to ensure maximum strength in the direction the force is applied on them - i.e. inwards once assembled.
