The U.S.M. Interceptor is a budget-friendly fighter pod, engineered with robust analogue systems to counter the Dominion's advanced A.I. hacking capabilities. Its relatively limited range makes it primarily suitable for planetary defense, but squadrons of Interceptors can be deployed from U.S.M. cruisers during space battles. Easy to customize and repair, many Freespace colony recruits keep such a vessel in reserve, ready to be called into action if needed. This vehicle was designed with Wayfarer Tactics in mind, our fast-paced, modular (fully customizable) miniature gaming rules. You can download it for free on our site if you're interested. It's useful not just for 15mm scale miniature wargames or RPGs but also for any other game that requires miniatures of this size. To create 28mm scale versions, simply increase the dimensions by 180%.
