To address my issue with coupling components, I created this model as a mental exercise and to ensure proper torque transfer between the ends. My hope is that this helps someone avoid frustration. A peculiar aspect of SolidWorks was its requirement for a parallel mate instead of a more suitable concentric one, particularly in reference to shear pin mates.
