U-Caliburn Battery Stock

thingiverse

This is a battery stock engineered specifically for Captain Slug's U-Caliburn. It is designed to hold a 12-volt battery pack that powers LED lighting strips, available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MF70BPU. A suitable light strip example can be found at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L7JEAN0. This modification dramatically extends the length-of-pull of the blaster, transforming it into a long-boi. Additionally, it combines the three buttplate pieces (OGButtPlate.stl, OGBackButt.stl, and OGfrontbutt.stl) into one object. The design incorporates minor cosmetic enhancements and a cheek rest. A 3/8 inch hole is also included for an optional takedown pin, facilitating easier spring changes and maintenance. This will necessitate drilling additional holes in the u-channel bars. A suitable takedown pin can be found on Lowe's at https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-2-1-8-in-Cotterless-Hitch-Pin/3012940. This project was completed using TinkerCAD, with video and pictures to follow. - Junglist365
