The project aims to create a compact enclosure for the ZX81 computer, utilizing various components to bring it into the modern era. Key Components: ZXDuino Core: The Arduino Nano V3 is used as the brain of the TZXDuino, providing a reliable and efficient platform for the project. Visual Interface: A 0.91" OLED IC2 Display with a resolution of 128x32 pixels is integrated to offer an intuitive user interface for navigating menus and displaying information. Memory Expansion: The SPI SD Mini Card Module allows for seamless integration with external storage devices, expanding the ZX81's memory capabilities and enhancing its overall performance. Input/Output Ports: Six micro switches (6x6x5) are included for customizable input options, providing users with flexibility to connect various peripherals or add custom features to their setup. Audio Output: A 3.5mm Mono Audio Jack (Male) is integrated to enable high-quality audio output, making it easier to enjoy games and other content on the ZX81.
