Tzir_Blake's Sunbeam Torino Grounds Dish
thingiverse
I have to say it, I'm absolutely thrilled with my new Sunbeam Torino. If you're looking to pull the plug and buy one of these, you won't regret it! As a barista by trade, this little machine rivals the industrial unit we use at work. Anyways, I discovered the height of first world problems yesterday and decided to use my printer to fix it. The grinder that Sunbeam ships with this machine has a slight concavity that catches collected or spilt grounds before/after tamping. It works great...but how do you get the grounds out and to the bin? This is where my dish comes in. Using a dry paintbrush, just brush them into the dish and voila! Problem solved. No more having to unplug the entire grinder just to clean out the grounds. I've made two versions of the dish (a large and a small) and I would highly recommend using the large version as it makes the dish that much more functional as it can wrap around the sides. My printer has quite a small build volume, so I printed and use the small version as pictured. Happy printing!
