TYWE5P Pogo Pin Flashing Adapter

TYWE5P Pogo Pin Flashing Adapter

thingiverse

Designed to flash a TYWE5P board with new firmware (such as with Tasmota). See photo for pinout. The Reset/RTS is optional, but recommended if doing bulk backups and flashing as it saves a manual power cycle. **Important! Ensure devices is not connected to _anything_ else, especially mains, when flashing or opening your device** The pogo pins I used for this were P75-E2 as that was available to me. When flashing, I used a clamp to hold it in place - but you can also just hold it by hand if you are patient. There are 2 versions, the only difference is the diameter of the hole, one is 1mm, the other 1.3mm. Depending on your printer, the pogo pins etc, choose which works best for you. I found that using a 1mm drill to clean up the hole after printing gave the best result. It's designed to be printed in the orientation as per the .stl file (ie: upside down). That way no supports etc are required. The source files are available at: https://github.com/sillyfrog/pogo-pin-rigs You can use this to adjust the size of the holes, which pins are provided for etc.
