TYT TH-9800 Radio Rail
thingiverse
Vaguely based on its parent that I was completely unsatisfied with. Put up or shut up as they say. So here is my design. No goofy-ass curves. Strength where it's needed. And now it has the screwholes so no drilling. Very easy print. Turn 45 degrees to fit on most print beds. I printed mine laying down. The rails don't extend entirely to the bottom of the radio, and they reach beyond the top a bit. This will serve to keep the speaker exposed if you need to wedge the radio in-between seats or something. You can see from the photo I have zip-tied my coax (and not see I have zip tied the power input on the other side as well,) to the rail as well to give it some stability. Bonus stands and maybe some other press-fit accessories. I had to print at 102% size to make sure they will fit, depending on your printers tolerance you may need to as well.
