Tyrrell 012 Boomerang F1 1:20
thingiverse
The Tyrrell 012 is a Formula One racing car designed by Maurice Philippe for the Tyrrell team. It debuted in the 1983 season and continued to be used until the first few races of 1985. As the first chassis built mostly from carbon fibre, it followed in the footsteps of Lotus and McLaren. The car was powered by a short-stroke Ford Cosworth DFV engine previously used by Lotus before they switched to Renault turbo engines. Benetton clothing company sponsored the team in 1983 with a large budget that helped successfully develop the car. Although light and agile, it couldn't compete with the extremely powerful turbo cars.
