Side plates safeguard the stack from grass or dirt when flying prop out. The printing requirement is strict: it MUST be printed in TPU. This is a tricky print that demands great precision, requiring very thin layers and robust supports. The top part of this design aims to enhance VTX cooling by functioning similarly to an F1 air intake. Although its effectiveness remains uncertain, the aesthetic appeal is undeniable. A separate component, also printable in TPU, is designed for easy attachment to the top plate. This piece needs to be glued into place. For optimal results, print it with the intake facing downwards towards the bed, and do not rely on supports during printing.
