Typographic Clock
thingiverse
This text was inspired by an instructables project; the author created a 3D design in SolidWorks after his wife admired the look of a typographic clock. Not having a CNC machine, he decided to print the pieces individually and attach them if desired. The clock mechanism is from an old Sharp clock that wasn't as appealing, but any compatible kit should work. Netfabb was used to fix the 150mm x 100mm pieces, which can be glued or hung separately. An included number 3 allows for more numerals on the clock (with a rotated 6 creating a 9). The clock mechanism may protrude from the base and the mounting hole could be too small, but the SolidWorks part files are available upon request.
