"Typhoon" Twin 30mm Part Cooling for Frankenstein E3D Hot End
thingiverse
I've created a modification for the Frankenstein E3D carriage used on the Anet A6 that resolves one of its major drawbacks: inadequate part cooling. The stock design relies on a single fan, which consistently struggles to deliver sufficient airflow on both sides of the nozzle. To address this issue, I've developed an upgraded shroud featuring twin 30mm fans, each directing air into their respective channels. This eliminates the need for splitting one air input between two exit paths, resulting in more efficient cooling. Simply swap out the top part of the existing cooling assembly and install your new twin fans using a JST connector; they work flawlessly together. I've already noticed an improvement in overhang quality, and I highly recommend giving it a try to experience the difference for yourself.
