The Typhoon is an upgrade kit for the Ortur Laser Master 2 laser cutter & engraver (for 15 & 20 watt models). It requires an OEM Intel CPU fan. The air duct serves as a cooling path for the laser unit & control board and acts like an air assist at the same time. The nozzle unit features an easy twist lock mechanism with alignment indicators. The nozzle cap is threaded & marked with the center of the beam in 1 cm increments for easy alignment. These pieces were printed with black PETG to make them as opaque as possible. Please make sure to adjust the maximum X and Y travel values in your laser control software. Due to the moderate size of this unit, the offsets reduce the effective area to 405 x 385 mm on the X and Y axis, -25 mm and -15 mm. Besides the Intel CPU fan, it requires 6 small screws (4 x 1/2) to mount the limit switch offsets. If you have any issues or comments please feel free to post them here!
