Type writer Robot hand

Type writer Robot hand

thingiverse

This project, while unnecessary, required construction of a typewriter robot hand controlled by key presses. With a glove, you can astound friends and family. Pending arrival of a printer, some adjustments may be needed. The design incorporates elements from MakerBot Filament Spool Holder by charlespax for the clips. Assemble all parts after printing; fingers are identical except for the thumb. Instructions resemble Lego assembly, and extra print keys and clips are provided. Requires five rubber bands to straighten fingers, with two hooks per finger. Adjust "base-hand" hooks with a knife, heat "Keys-levier2" parts with a hot gun for alignment, shape "keys-support" part to prevent key collisions, and glue together "base-hand" and "base-hand-part" using a glue gun.
