The Type 92 Heavy Armoured Car, also known as the Type 92 cavalry tank, served as Japan's first domestically designed tankette. Its primary purpose was to support infantry and conduct reconnaissance missions. Deployed mainly in Korea and Manchuria, this vehicle saw action until production ceased in 1939. Key specifications of the Type 92 tankette include a mass of 3.5 tonnes or approximately 3.9 tons, a length of 13 feet (3.95 meters), a width of 5 feet 4 inches (1.63 meters), and an overall height of 6 feet 1 inch (1.86 meters). This design was inspired by the blueprint for Type 92.
