Type 61 Tank
thingiverse
Human: 1:144 (~ N-Scale) Type 61 Tank from Gundam. Based on the papercraft model here with gracious permission from rizky at http://myhobbycraft.blogspot.com/2009/12/efgf-m61a5-main-battle-tank-135.html I designed it to be largely printable in WSF on Sapeways but I don't have my 3D printer yet so please let me know if there's something I can do to give it a better chance of printing The fence and ladder are probably going to need support and the wheels/treads may be challenging I've added a recess to the hull and turret for a 1/8" x 1/16" cylindrical magnet so that it can rotate while staying attached File List Type-61-test is all the parts separated but in a single file Type-61_Full_Assembled is all the parts together in my assembly file combined as one file Type-61_Hull is all of the hull parts in a single file Type-61_Turret is all of the turret parts in a single file Type-61_Turret_Magnet is the turret without the cannons attached and Type-61_Cannons_Reduced are the cannons separately The rest of the parts are what you may want to print individually if the big file doesn't work out Assembly of these parts should be pretty straightforward most parts line up on edges and there's protrusions for the cannons to square to Print Settings Supports Yes Notes I don't have my printer yet so hopefully you can help There will probably be some parts that need support and once I get a printer I'll update resolution and such How I Designed This With the permission of rizky I based the design off his paper model here http://myhobbycraft.blogspot.com/2009/12/efgf-m61a5-main-battle-tank-135.html From there it was a lot of poly-line extrusion vertex pushing and swearing.
