Type 18e (XVIIIe) Longsword
grabcad
This is a sword modelled after Oakeshott's topology of a type 18e longsword, a blade predominantly found in the Danish army during the 15th and 16th centuries. This model showcases how boundary and loft cuts and extrusions (and their equivalents in non-SolidWorks CAD software) can create intricate and non-linear shapes, as evident in the sword's cross section. GrabCAD's guidelines prohibit "dangerous or offensive weapons", yet fail to provide a clear definition of such items. I do not believe this sword model fits into that category, but respect GrabCAD's right to remove it if they deem it necessary.
