Tygr MOD E3D V5 Felix extruder
thingiverse
This modification replaces a standard Felix HotEnd with an E3D HotEnd, resolving issues of filament jam in PEEK. The E3D HotEnd can also be used for Bowden drives. Key benefits include a reinforced base and a cold AL heatsink at 200°C print temperature; however, there may be some loss in print height. New versions feature a V2 base with reinforcement and a smaller hole for filament cones on the clamp. Instructions detail printing two clamp files (V2 shifted 2mm for precise fiber guidance) that must be printed with support. Removal of stepper motor frame screws, replacement with new parts, and switching fans to 12V are required for assembly.
