Tye stopped by our booth at the Big Bang Fair and took a spin on our scanning rig, which harnesses the power of 96 DSLR cameras to capture an astonishing total of 1.8 Giga pixels of data for every single scan. We teamed up with our friends over at CapturingReality.com to process the data - their top-notch software expertly analyzes each image, pinpointing unique points on each one before plotting them in 3D space if they appear in multiple images.
