Tyco Trucking US1 Gears

These are replacement gears for the Tyco Trucking US1 (US-1) slot cars. I had them printed by Shapeways using smoothest fine detail plastic. This model contains gear sets for 9 cars. I picked that number, because Shapeways would have charged the same amount for any smaller model. At the time of my purchase (Jan 2020) the cost was about $20 including shipping for this model. So far, I've tested them for about an hour of runtime, and the car is working great. I'll report back here if I have any issues. If you print these, I'd also be very interested to hear how they're working for you. I don't have an SLA printer, but I'd be interested to hear back if it would work for these. Update: After using these gears for about 6 months of frequent use (printed using Shapeways smoothest fine plastic), I'm very happy with the results. Except for a single gear that I broke when I was trying to remove it from a motor, I haven't had any issues. (The gears are more brittle than stock.) The cars go fast, and the gears don't show any visual signs of wear.
