Ancient Necklace / Neck-Ring with Trumpet-Shaped Ends Discovered in Paimion Spurila Iron Age Burial Site A unique iron age necklace has been unearthed at the Paimion Spurilan burial site during an archaeological excavation conducted in 1985. The bronze neck ring features trumpet-shaped ends and is now part of the collection held by the Department of Archaeology at the University of Turku. A three-dimensional model of the artifact was created using RealityCapture software from a series of 689 images. The original polygon mesh was simplified, reducing it from 11,759,772 polygons to 411,592.
