TX1811 VTX mount/holder
thingiverse
This is a straightforward holder/protector for the T1811 VTx, designed specifically to mount it securely atop the cinewhoop Dison Remix or any other R/C vehicle that demands a protective enclosure. The accompanying files, VTX1 and T1811 VTX thinner, offer two distinct solutions. The VTX1 file boasts 3mm walls, providing an excellent balance of sturdiness and protection for the VTx. This robust design ensures a secure hold on the device while accommodating the rigors of frequent impacts inherent to whoop-style flying. To further guarantee a snug fit, I added a small amount of flexible glue to one side of the VTx. This precaution prevents the device from becoming dislodged during flight, yet still allows for easy removal when necessary. In contrast, the T1811 VTX thinner file features 2mm walls and a slightly more pliable construction. Although less robust than its counterpart, it still offers sufficient protection while allowing for a compact design that doesn't compromise on functionality. The added thickness also provides ample space to mount additional components within the enclosure. The images illustrating the VTx in place utilize the 3mm wall file, specifically "VTX1". For comparison, an image of the empty enclosure is juxtaposed with an SD card, showcasing the relative thickness of the T1811 vtx thinner.obj file.
