TX16S (or any RC) Camera Tripod support
thingiverse
This support is very convenient when having long range automated mission that I want to monitor from my RC. With that concept I can have an eye on telemetry and maps widget without having to hold my (heavy) TX16S. And as soon as my model come back I can easily and rapidly take the remote on my hand to regain control, thanks to the quick release feature of Manfrotto Camera Tripod. You will need : - 1/4 to 3/8 mount adapter (like that: https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005003201405172.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.32.64fd5e5b6UXnv3&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra) 1-> Dig a 9mm hole on the bottom of your RC (if using TX16S you can refer to my measures) 2-> Print the Bolt 3-> Put the bolt on the battery bay in front of the digged hole 4-> Insert the 1/4 to 3/8 adapter You can use it with any 1/4 screw from any Tripod. I would recommend Manfrotto Tripods for their quality as your RC is probably something pricey. If you plan want to use it, you can use commercial quick release plate or juste make one using JimmyLiu5582 quick release plate model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1916224 (thanks to him). If you print this plate you will need a 1/4 screw like that: https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/4000386040225.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.39.64fd5e5b6UXnv3&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra
