TX16S and T16 Ergonomic Handle Grip
thingiverse
I wasn't impressed by the plastic grip on my Jumper T16 so took it off, sure the bare metal handle felt nicer but still wasn't 'right'. So yesterday I idly designed this replacement grip for it which is sooo much nicer than the original grip and the bare metal handle, plus it uses the screws from the original grip. Really easy to print: PLA or PETG No support Lowest layer height your printer can do. I did variable layer height starting at 0.2mm at the bottom which slowly changed to to 0.05mm at the top and took just under 2 hours. I thought I might have to sand down the print afterwards for a smooth surface, but it turns out the ridges of the layers produce just the right grip for my fingers. I did add a 0.2mm bevel around the bottom of the print edges to cope with any elephants foot issues, and if you find there's a very tiny amount of play then just wrap some ordinary stickytape around the metal handle to bulk it up a tiny amount. You can sell prints of this, but don't overcharge, and link back here. Tips are most welcome https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/Haku3D and will encourage me to make more designs for everyone to benefit.
