TX-130 Saber-class fighter tank

thingiverse

This is a 28mm scaled model of the Republic or Empire TX-130 fighter tank from the games Empire at War and Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2. It has been disassembled into smaller parts for assembly, all of which are included in this one file. Simply load it and print it off - you can even split it up if that helps with the assembly process. I will eventually create a video or tutorial to aid in the process, but for now, just take a look at pictures of the tank online and work out how it's assembled based on what you see. Start by dry-fitting the parts, then glue them together once you're sure they fit properly. This model is currently only designed as a Mark 1 with no moving parts - I plan to update it eventually so that it can move, but for now I'm focusing on other tanks. I've updated the tracks four or five times since uploading this model, and while I removed the old ones to avoid confusion, I understand that hobbyists may prefer to choose the one they like best or stick with what they have already. This model is designed to complement any 28mm collection or wargaming setup, and at some point I will attach the rules I've been working on for 40k's Clone Army - expect this within a month from when this was uploaded. Print Settings: Printer: Cocoon Create Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 20% Notes: Support is required for several parts, and I also suggest a light sanding of the flat surfaces. Some modeling putty may be needed to fill gaps that appear during assembly.
