Experimental 3D model created by ThinkSee3D (https://sketchfab.com/thinksee3d) for the African Rock Art Image Project (http://africanrockart.britishmuseum.org/) at the British Museum. This model was created using archival images catalogued by the Rock Art project, with only 20 archival images available to make this model. We created this model specifically for making a 3D print for the visually-impaired, with ThinkSee3D undertaking mesh repairs and increasing the texture of the impressed art for handling sessions. South Africa has one of the most diverse records of rock art in the world, with the range of South African rock art spanning great distances, many centuries, and different cultural traditions.
