Twoup Y axis linear bearings brackets/cages
thingiverse
Updated Mar-8-2017: Added file "base_v3". This support attaches underneath the printer and is secured to the bearing cages with 6-32 bolts and nuts. I used 1 inch screws, which were sufficient for this modification. The addition of this mod enhances stability and rigidity to the printer, firmly holding the bearings in place. Updated version (v3) features larger holes for easier screw installation. So far, it seems to be working well. These custom brackets/cages are designed to secure linear bearings on the Y axis. I haven't tested them yet, but they snap onto the bearings quite securely. Currently, I'm using this design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:329623, however, it reduces the printing area on the Y axis. You will need to print two of these brackets for each bearing. I printed these at 0.2mm layer height with 35% infill in ABS plastic.
