The included model is a rough mock-up and not perfect, but it's good enough for use in S3D or Cura background/custom build platform images. !!! Make sure your machine is built clean, square, solid, lubricated, with belts tensioned and aligned properly! Take care of your hardware first, then electronics, then firmware, and finally slicer settings. To get started, import the S3D profile (.fff) and use it as a custom machine option. Next, update Cura's resources folder with a good base profile, along with TwoTrees Sapphire S added to the machine directory, using the printer model as the custom background. Update LerdgeX firmware and config file with strong and stable acceleration/jerk settings. Consider printing Thingiverse's #3674354 to replace the fan cover and reduce hotend weight by a lot. Install the L bracket that holds the hotend upside down to gain Z axis height, which will also reduce wobble. Install Cura 4.1, close it, rename the resources folder in Cura to "resources_backup", then paste the supplied one into its place. Upload the Lerdge.config file to a USB drive in a folder named Lerdge_Config. Plug the Sapphire S into the Lerdge X Board and go to settings, system, press the UP arrow at the bottom, select USB/lerdge_config/Lerdge.config, then confirm. Firmware updates can be done the same way. Lerdge X Board setup: * All 3 jumper plugs in all driver slots * XY LV8729 drivers set to 1/128 micro stepping * ZE A4988 set to 1/16 step LV8729 version with 220 resistors on bottom: * XY axis set at 1.2v A4988 setup: * ZE axis set at 0.9v
