Two wheel Z carriage Modified Texo tarantula
thingiverse
This setup configures the Z axis to utilize two wheels on each carriage exclusively. I strongly suggest employing this configuration only when dual lead screws are installed. The vertical rails must maintain perfect parallelism for this setup to function correctly. To achieve precise alignment, a process known as truing up the X rail is necessary. Utilize two objects of identical height, such as two soda cans, and position them on the crossrails at the printer's base. Lower the X rail onto these objects while disengaging the lead screw if possible. Next, loosen the screws securing the carriages to the rail, then adjust the eccentric nuts on the wheels. Finally, raise the opposite end of the rail by a few millimeters and re-tighten the screws holding it in place. Once complete, reattach the lead screw and the Z axis should be preloaded, sagging only slightly to achieve perfect level alignment.
