Two Trees Sapphire S E3D V6 Hot End Carriage

This upgrade allows you to swap out your stock carriage assembly for a significantly lighter version with a bonus - now you can fit an E3D V6 (or clone) hot-end into the space. The added 5015 blower fan is far more efficient and provides better cooling than the two rather underpowered 24v fans that originally came with it. You can even keep your original 30mm 24v heat-sink fan and simply relocate it as shown in the pictures. To make this upgrade, you'll need to pick up a few parts: 2 x 16mm M3 socket-head screws for the clamp, plus 2 x 20mm M3 socket-head screws for mounting the fan. You'll also need 2 x 5mm deep, 5mm diameter brass threaded inserts for the clamp and 1 x 4mm deep, 4mm diameter brass threaded insert to hold the fan in place - along with 1 x M3 nut. Note that you may already have some of these parts on hand: you can use your existing M4 screws that mount the stock carriage, or swap them out for slightly longer ones if needed. No further instructions are required; everything is pretty self-explanatory from here. A big thank-you goes to the original author of the carriage mount, which I heavily modified to create this upgrade - check it out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2023947. I highly recommend using a fan duct for cooling, along with two washers placed between the fan and the carriage to provide sufficient spacing. You can find this fan duct on Thingiverse here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2551774.
