Did try various options given on Thingiverse but none made me happy or even partially satisfied.

So, here is my approach which probably isn't most elegant design but does the job, does for me and hope it will do for you too.

You need to print the file and do small mod on 5051 radial fan, just cutting the small notch in fan body to accommodate and fix the fan.

Plus… in addition to two long 2mm screws holding the “OEM” 4010 bottom, you will need two M3 6-8mm long screws to mount the bracket to a carriage, that’s it.

Air outlet clears the part/nozzle end for almost 2mm and assembled body doesn’t collide anywhere.

P.S. Part is printed upright and suppor structure is need only at the bottom, to support bracket arms.

Print Settings

Printer:

TWO TREES SAPPHIRE PRO

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.1 or 0.2, both will do

Infill:

3 outer layers and 20-25% or... I made it all solid

Filament:
No brand, something from china PLA
black

Category: 3D Printer Parts
