It can be mounted left or right, on the left side you need a cable extender for the nema motor which is not needed if the mounting is done on the left side. For the assembly, only 4 clamps are required to hold the motor / extruder to the arm, and a M3x20mm screw and nut. Additionally, a support for the filament cut sensor is included with a set of guides to properly guide the filament. It is recommended to use foam between the motor and the arm to avoid vibrations. The recommended material for durability is PETG but PLA can also be used, I have printed it without supports, it is very easy. If you want to use this design and put it on the left side of the machine in combination with my hotend designs you must invert the top plate included in those designs so that it does not produce impact.
