The guide helps maintain a smooth path for the filament, reducing friction and wear on the plastic components. For optimal performance, it's recommended to use a Teflon tube to further improve the filament's flow. This upgrade makes it easier to feed the filament into the printer without causing damage to the surrounding plastic.
