Two Tier Samurai Sword Stand v1
thingiverse
I printed a display for my samurai sword on my wall that needed a two tier stand. The Stand I made came out perfectly, but I noticed it was quite flimsy when printed with only 20 percent infill. So, I redesigned the entire project and there's now a Version Two available online, which prints wonderfully if your infill level is in the range of 35-40 percent. If you're planning on printing this stand at home, take note that it requires some gentle handling because the original design was quite fragile. To achieve better results, I highly recommend increasing the infill to between 35 and 40 percent. If you're short on time, the newer Version Two model would be an even wiser choice. That being said, Version Two was built to withstand heavier loads and is perfect for those with limited experience working with printing technology. To create this robust version of the stand, I made some key adjustments that paid off in spades - using a more substantial 40 percent infill setting, which yielded impressive results right from the start!
