Two-Stage Fully 3D Printable Model Rocket

Two-Stage Fully 3D Printable Model Rocket

thingiverse

A fully 3D printable model rocket designed to fit a standard Estes 1/8" launch rod and compatible with Estes C engines. Use a booster engine for the first stage, such as a C6-0, and a regular engine for the second stage. Tolerances may need adjustment depending on your printer's specifications. This model features the NASA logo due to my past affiliation with the organization and the Syracuse University logo because I am an alumni. Suppressing these features would compromise the model's integrity. The one-stage version of this rocket can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3788260. Unloaded weight is approximately 90 grams, while launch height remains unknown but expected to be high. Recovery is achieved through a parachute system. Material costs for printing with PLA are estimated at around $2.5.
