Two-sided decorative slab with masks

This panel is worked on both sides. The front face showcases sculptures of the mask of a deity wearing an archaizing crown and standing in front of a tripod. Meanwhile, its opposite side features a New Comedy mask against the backdrop of a theatre tent. Panels like this one were sculpted on both sides and placed on small pillars or columns to decorate gardens with elegance and sophistication. They date back to the second half of the 1st century AD.
