two sided bowl for storing small things
thingiverse
I employ a Reach Access Flosser first thing each morning. Requiring a designated storage compartment to differentiate new disposable flosser heads from used ones on opposite sides has proven to be a pressing concern for me. Unable to tackle this challenge in Solidworks due to its advanced complexities exceeding my skill level, I opted for a more primitive approach. Using modeling clay as my medium, I carefully sculpted the necessary design, scanned it subsequently, and ultimately produced a functional prototype via 3D printing technology. Noteworthy is the incorporation of an unmistakable visual cue - a recognizable face – ensuring instant recall of which side holds new flosser heads at all times. In itself, this unassuming project effectively showcases the transformative capabilities of interconnected CAD tools despite being aesthetically comparable to a whimsical five-year-old's handmade gift for Father's Day.
