Two Seals - Inuit Art
thingiverse
This Inuit soapstone carving, sourced from the 1967 Montreal World's Fair, has an image displayed at lower left. Conversion to stl file was done using Autodesk's free beta software, 123D Catch. Users provide multiple photos for 3D conversion. The resulting seal_two.stl, when printed, produces a 0.4 scale replica of the carving; an image is shown at upper left. The nearly flat plate design prints efficiently with minimal infill. 123D Catch delivers high-quality 3D images, while seal_two.stl scales impressively well.
