Two-Piece Vertical Soap Dish

Two-Piece Vertical Soap Dish

This was a soap dish I designed for a bathroom we had with not much space for a soap dish. Features included: * Soap fits on end so the dish will take up less horizontal space. * Spout on one end so that soap runoff will flow into the sink (I didn't want soap drip water collecting inside the dish) * Style intended to be vaguely art deco. You'll have to decide if this was successful. * Vertical slot in the front was also to help fish out a bar of soap that had gotten smaller over time. * I was worried a flat bottom dish would have moisture and soap collect under the dish, so the dish has supporting feet for more air to circulate under it. * The dish has many supporting feet, since I was worried it might slip off the sink more easily with just 3-4 supporting feet. * Designed as a two-piece construction to better fit our tiny (Toybox) printer. * The lower piece has drain holes built in, in case moisture gets between the two pieces. The only real problem we had with this design is that the upper corners of the vertical slot could kind of poke you if you reach for a small piece of soap too fast. Anyone doing a remix might want to angle those corners more obliquely.
