Two Piece Flange Box

This project branched off from my original rabbet box design. Unlike the rabbet box, which prints in six separate pieces that require assembly via glue-up, this version prints in just two self-contained parts that eliminate the need for additional bonding. One end of each unit functions as part of the lid, while the remaining four sides form the body of the enclosure. This unique design offers a significant advantage when handling larger items, but it may not be suitable for smaller objects due to its inherent limitations. As the lid slides open on top, it creates an unintended opening at the bottom and back, which can lead to loss or misplacement of small items.
