Two Piece Fishing Rod Keeper

I call this my Two-Piece Rod Keeper. This is a small device to help you keep your two-piece fishing rod tidy by letting your break the rod down without unthreading your line, or even untying your lure. The tension on the line keeps it in place, and a small elastic band (I like to use a section of bicycle inner-tube) keeps the other end in place. The SCAD file, or the Thingiverse Customizer, lets you input the diameters of your fishing rod sections, the distance you want to keep the rods apart, as well as the insertion depth of the rods into the rod keeper. This creates a custom STL for your particular fishing rod for a custom fit. It can be printed without supports, in any material, using very little infill if desired. I use ABS.
