The items included in the kit transform an empty 2 liter bottle into a horizontal terrarium. Designed for elementary school kids, this kit teaches how plants grow and ecosystems function as self-contained environments. The kit contains a stabilizer to prevent the bottle from rolling, a feeder/hopper that adds soil down the length of the bottle, a custom cap to add water and seeds, an angle funnel fitting the bottle opening, and a seed cup for placing seeds. Multiple bottles can be prepared with a single kit by adding extra stabilizers and caps. The rest of the components are reusable. Print Settings The custom cap needs to be made of a flexible material so that the plug fits properly. If this is not possible, the original bottle cap can be used instead.
