Two Hearts That Start Apart, But Belong Together (Optional Tray)
prusaprinters
A delightful model of two standing hearts that can initially be separated (one for each of you), and then placed together for a beautiful sculpture. Included are a couple of tray designs as well that you can use to optionally turn the sculpture into a thoughtful way to present candy, jewelry, etc.Other notes:.20 mm layer height works wellLarge heart is 13 cm tallCurvy tray is 20 cm wide, and basic tray is 18 cm wideDesigned to be print with a single support in the very center of each heart (i.e. use the “Paint on supports” feature, and the “Support → For support enforces only” option in PrusaSlicer)For a nice look, add a color change in the slicer to print the base at a different color than the heartsThe trays may need to be rotated by 45 degrees to fit on your print bed (they should easily fit on a bed with a print area of at least 18 x 18 cm)I've included the 3MF files that show all the settings I used in the slicer, which I'd recommend you start with (or scroll down a bit further if you want the STLs). But, for those that just want to try downloading and printing, I've also included the .gcode file I used to print the ones shown in the pictures on my Prusa Mini. I hope you enjoy!
