Two-gang wall light switch plate accommodates a Philips Hue remote control in a slot. Replace your light switch with a Philips Hue remote by hard-wiring the old switch to permanently-powered and relying solely on the remote and Hue bridge to control your bulbs. The plate is reversible, allowing you to locate the Hue remote to the left or right of the switch. The screw holes in the Hue remote slot align perfectly with those in a standard electric switch wall box; re-use the screws from the outgoing light switch for a seamless installation. Eight figure-8 shapes on the back of the plate hold 10mm round neodymium magnets, securing the remote in place just like the original wall plate that comes with the remote. Use the higher position for the magnets and be aware that polarity matters; try one way or another until the remote feels firmly secured. Double up on magnets for extra strength to keep your remote in place securely.
