Two Cube Ornaments
thingiverse
Two intricately designed ornaments take shape as layers of overlapping cubes stack vertically, their precision-cut edges forming a seamless whole. The larger of the two approximates a perfect cube, crafted from 206 individual cubes with sides measuring exactly 8 millimeters in length. In addition to these cube-based masterpieces, two ornate ornaments are created using rectangular blocks, dubbed "lattice ornaments," which are calculated using the same openSCAD code but with distinct parameters for the cube. These ingenious designs feature channels that allow light to pass through, casting an ethereal glow within their structure. The accompanying openSCAD code is included, allowing users to modify and manipulate its parameters to create a wide range of similar ornaments, each one a testament to the power of precision engineering and creative design.
