Two color bow-tie - single extruder
thingiverse
I needed a bow-tie for my kid and found it difficult with only one extruder, so I decided to break the print into two pieces. Personally, I think the best way is to make each piece at 75 percent of its original size. I believe that this size will work well in most cases but can be easily adjusted if needed. The file for the bow-tie comes in two parts, one in a different color from the other, so they have to be printed separately but will still fit and function properly together. I found it helpful to print each piece at 75 percent of its original size because it made them the perfect size for my needs. If you want to use your own settings instead, that is perfectly fine. Here are some of my printing settings that worked well with this file: - A decrease in size of 25 percent - A layer height of 0.12 millimeters - 15% infill was sufficient but may vary based on personal preference - I started the print process with a first layer speed at 200 percent - The nozzle temperature is set to 0.4
