Two Card Badge Holder

Two Card Badge Holder

This is a badge holder with space for an additional card. Many workplaces have separate cards that serve as keys for specific locations or systems. The second key card can be easily detached and inserted into a reader if needed. The voronoi pattern ensures that every time the design is recreated in OpenSCAD, different patterns emerge. The images may appear slightly distorted due to scaling, but the design is intended for standard-sized cards (3 3/8" x 2 1/8"). Assembly: The badge holder consists of three printed parts. These parts must be joined together using friction welding or adhesive. I assembled all three parts and then applied friction welding once they were in place. This process is visible in the picture of the back of the badge holder. If you're unfamiliar with friction welding, refer to my blog post and videos on the topic: For more information on the friction welding technique used for this project, visit: http://www.scorchworks.com/Blog/friction-welding-with-a-dremel-rotary-tool/ License Details: This item is licensed under GNU-GPL, which was inherited from "OpenSCAD Voronoi Generator by felipesanches." If the voronoi portion of the OpenSCAD code is removed, the remaining code can be considered public domain.
